Tim is a senior quantity surveyor and estimator with more than 35 years in construction, across corporate, public-sector and private residential work, on budgets from small extensions to more than £25 million.
For the last 18 years he has run his own practice, Quantiv. He is Homebuilding & Renovating’s build cost expert, presents its masterclass on reducing the cost of your build, and speaks at the Homebuilding & Renovating Shows and Grand Designs Live.
He is also a hands-on renovator who manages his own property portfolio, so he knows the costs of new builds, renovations and extensions from the client’s side as well as the surveyor’s.
